Its about time

Well, I thought it was definately about time that I blog. I have been so busy/sick lately I haven't been very dilligent. Well, Easter weekend was definately fun for us! Friday night we headed out to the Knolls for some camping with Josh and Erica and two of their boys Logan and Lukus as well as Pam and her son Kaden. Brikayla had an absolute blast!!!

Brikayla on the drive out

Pam and Kaden rode with us out there, to save on gas and stuff. Kaden and Brikayla teased each other the whole way out there just about. When we got there, we got the trailer all set up and the kids got right down to playing. Josh and Erica brought their boys four wheeler and we brought Brikaylas jeep, the kids all had fun taking turns with those.

After we got all set up we had a fire and had smores and all that fun stuff! Saturday morning we all got up and had breakfast burritios. Then we all headed out to some of the big dunes with the super soft sand so the kids could play. They all had soo much fun! After that we headed back to camp so the kids could dye easter eggs! It got pretty messy but they had a lot of fun.

It's a girl!!!

Well, they weren't 100 percent positive, but pretty sure that we're having a girl! So excited! I have another ultrasound in a few weeks, so we'll verify then, but for now, I'm saying we're having a girl!

Scary Day

Well, it started actually on Sunday. Jay and I took a shower, and all of a sudden I told him I think I need to get out because I feel light headed, I grabbed his arm and the next thing I remember was waking up to Jay asking me questions trying to wake me up. Right when I came to, I threw up and the rest of the day was so nauseas. Well, Monday I went to work still feeling pretty nauseas. Around 11:00 I went into the bathroom because I was feeling like I was going to throw up. I was kneeling on the gross bathroom floor, next thing I know I wake up laying on the floor with my head against the wall and a big headache. Luckily, someone came in to use the restroom and I asked for help. She ran and grabbed a supervisor and assistant manager. They came in and asked if they could call 911 or my husband or something. They called Jay and he rushed over. Since I hit my head, they called 911 as well. It was a very surreal experience. There were about 6 paramedics all doing different tests and things. They took me to the hospital in the ambulence, which was really scary. At the hospital, there were lots of tests, blood work and an ultrasound. We were there for about 4 hours or more. The doctor said my passing out most likely had something to do with my vegas nerve, which connects your stomach, brain and heart. The ultrasound was good. Baby is ok, heart beating and moving around so much. I have a urinary tract infection, they did an EKG and found out I have a minor abnormality, so I am supposed to get another EKG after I deliver the baby, because sometimes pregnancy can cause an abnormality. Anyway, overall it was just a scary day. I'm doing good for the most part. I'm just glad it wasn't worse.

14 weeks

Well, as of Monday I am 14 weeks, we had a scare today with me spotting and what not, so my doctor had me go in and we did an ultrasound and luckily everything turned out great! So that was definately a relief, she just wants me to take it easy.

My brothers wedding was very beautiful. Him and Ashlee are so happy together! They went to Cancun on their honeymoon and when they got back we went and watched them open their gifts.

Almost 13 Weeks!

So everything went great at my doctor appointment! I got to hear the heartbeat which was such relief! I really like my new doctor too. She is awesome! My due date is September 21. I'll be 13 weeks on Monday. My doctor said they would do the ultrasound at 18 weeks, but I know a girl who does ultrasounds and she said I could go into her in 3 weeks and she would tell me what I'm having! So hopefully we'll know in three weeks, if baby decides to cooperate. Brikayla is getting so big. She acts way older than her age. She tries to get other kids to do things with her. Like with Clayson, the other day she was like "Clayson, count with me" then she started counting and he would repeat each number she said. It's pretty funny.

Today my brother is getting married! I'm really excited for that. We're heading to the temple in about an hour and a half for that and then of course the reception and everything afterward. I'll try to remember to take pictures and get them posted.

We're going to Disney on Ice this weekend too! I'm excited for that. I know Brikayla is going to love it!

11.5 Weeks

So, I am 11 and a half weeks along now. :) I finally told my bosses yesterday that I'm pregnant. I had put if off for a little while, I was really nervous to tell them, especially after only working there for a month. Good news though, they were really great about it, just mostly really excited for me. Rebecca said she will work with my schedule when I have doctor appointments and things, so that is really nice to know! I've been feeling okay the last couple days, but for the week before, I think I had the flu, which wasn't any fun. I feel a lot better now though.
I really can't wait to find out if we're having a boy or girl. I want to figure out how we're going to be painting this baby's room, because Brikaylas turned out soo cute! I'm thinking Brown and Light greens, which could go for a boy or girl and we could accent with either pink or blue, depending. But really, I'm not sure.
