Scary Day

Well, it started actually on Sunday. Jay and I took a shower, and all of a sudden I told him I think I need to get out because I feel light headed, I grabbed his arm and the next thing I remember was waking up to Jay asking me questions trying to wake me up. Right when I came to, I threw up and the rest of the day was so nauseas. Well, Monday I went to work still feeling pretty nauseas. Around 11:00 I went into the bathroom because I was feeling like I was going to throw up. I was kneeling on the gross bathroom floor, next thing I know I wake up laying on the floor with my head against the wall and a big headache. Luckily, someone came in to use the restroom and I asked for help. She ran and grabbed a supervisor and assistant manager. They came in and asked if they could call 911 or my husband or something. They called Jay and he rushed over. Since I hit my head, they called 911 as well. It was a very surreal experience. There were about 6 paramedics all doing different tests and things. They took me to the hospital in the ambulence, which was really scary. At the hospital, there were lots of tests, blood work and an ultrasound. We were there for about 4 hours or more. The doctor said my passing out most likely had something to do with my vegas nerve, which connects your stomach, brain and heart. The ultrasound was good. Baby is ok, heart beating and moving around so much. I have a urinary tract infection, they did an EKG and found out I have a minor abnormality, so I am supposed to get another EKG after I deliver the baby, because sometimes pregnancy can cause an abnormality. Anyway, overall it was just a scary day. I'm doing good for the most part. I'm just glad it wasn't worse.

Take care of yourself and let us know if anything else happens. The things we do for our kids, eh? But they're so worth it.
